March 2025: Wildflowers and Texas Pride

March is when the colors really started to pop. We celebrated Texas Independence Day the right way (at Dysfunction Junction) and hit the trails for some prime wildflower viewing. The Lady Bird Lake hike with the Lemaire Lee interview was a unique highlight, and who could forget the BBQ Cookoff after Pedernales? Between the hiking and the comedy open mics, March reminded us why we love living in this part of the world.

March Memories:

  • 3/1: Violet Crown Hike & Concert at Campbell’s Hole.

  • 3/2: Texas Independence Day at Dysfunction Junction.

  • 3/8: Pedernales State Park (Wolf Mountain Trail) & Rodeo BBQ Cookoff.

  • 3/12: Hideout Pub burgers & Wild West two-stepping.

  • 3/15: Lady Bird Lake Hike & Lemaire Lee Interview.

  • 3/16: Fire Jam at Jungle Movement.

  • 3/19: Jason’s Hikes Comedy Open Mic at Rozco’s.

  • 3/22: Buescher State Park & Muleshoe Bend Bluebonnets.

  • 3/29: Lake Somerville & the massive Roundtop Antique Show trip.
