July 2025: Fireworks, Floats, and Famous Springs

Looking back, July was a total "greatest hits" reel of Texas summer. We kicked it off with Willie Nelson’s Picnic—because you can't do the 4th of July in Austin any other way—and spent the rest of the month chasing water. From the prehistoric vibes at Reimers Ranch to the refreshing magic of Krause Springs, we stayed cool while the pavement sizzled. Finishing the month with the Brazos Bend and Galveston trip was the perfect way to cap off the mid-summer heat.

July Retrospective:

  • 7/4: Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic at Q2 Stadium.

  • 7/5: Reimers Ranch Hike.

  • 7/12: Krause Springs Swim & Chill.

  • 7/19: Georgetown Berry Springs Park Preserve (3 Miles) & Monument Cafe.

  • 7/26: Brazos Bend State Park & Galveston Beach Trip (Overnight).
